    LED Lighting is Simply Better

When our company first started selling LED lighting the comments were interesting.

“The LED light is not as bright as the fluorescent conventional bulb.”

Actually the color rendering index of LED lights is far superior to a conventional fluorescent bulb. So what is the Color Rendering Index – CRI?

It is a measure of a lamp’s ability to render colors accurately as compared to the most natural light – the sun. And isn’t it the most natural light of all that we trying to duplicate?

The higher the CRI (based upon a 0-100 scale – the sun is 100) the richer colors generally appear. Normal commercial linear fluorescent tubes typically have a CRI around 75, about the same as daylight.

A comparable ESI LED under-cabinet light, such as the LEDG2-24, has a CRI of 85.

So if you want to view colors accurately LED lighting is your best choice.
